Overview

If you’re looking for a day filled with iconic Bali views, local culture, and hidden jungle gems, this tour’s got you covered. It’s a mix of everything, lush rice terraces, holy springs, a home-style lunch, and two waterfalls that feel like your own private paradise (if we time it right). Perfect if you want to explore without rushing, and still have energy left after.

We start with the famous Tegallalang Rice Terraces. You’ve probably seen the photos, layers of bright green rice fields carved into the hillside. The views are unreal, and early in the day, it’s peaceful and breezy. You can walk a bit, take photos, or just sit and soak it all in.

Next up, Tirta Empul Temple. This one’s spiritual, but in a really down-to-earth way. Locals come here for purification in the holy spring water. You can join the ritual if you want (just bring a change of clothes), or just walk around and watch, it’s a beautiful experience either way.

Then we stop for lunch at a local warung. Nothing fancy, just good Balinese food and chill vibes. Think crispy duck, grilled chicken, or nasi campur, with a view of rice fields or jungle. You’ll eat well without breaking the bank.

After lunch, we head into the jungle for Kanto Lampo Waterfall. It’s close to town but feels hidden. Water flows over big black rocks, and if the light hits right, it’s seriously photogenic. It’s not too deep, so you can dip your feet or go all in.

Last stop, Tibumana Waterfall. This one’s a favorite for a reason. Short walk through a palm tree forest, then bam—a tall, clean waterfall with a calm pool below. Super peaceful, great for a swim, and not too crowded if we get there before late afternoon.

Highlights

  • Wander through Bali’s most iconic rice terraces (yes, the Instagram one!)
  • Join a real Balinese purification ritual—or just take in the temple vibes
  • Have lunch like a local, with local flavors and rice field views
  • Cool off at two different jungle waterfalls, hidden but easy to reach
  • Private car, local driver, no rush—we go at your pace

The art museum was beautiful, and monkey sanctuary was so much fun! We also did some great shopping in the market. And we are so lucky that our tour guide Yos was so good! He taught us so much about the history and culture, we learned a lot and had so much fun with him.

Our driver for this trip was MANGKOK and we would like to express our appreciation towards him as he has definitely made our trip a smooth and memorable one. We needed to find a home-stay/resort at a very last minute and he even went the extra mile by bringing us to various places to check out and Ensure that we get a reasonable price for our short stay there. ...
